Olivia Fay opened the doors to Olivia Fays Colour and Occasion stylist in 2021. The vision was to create a forward-thinking salon that welcomed clients to a warm and friendly environment, whilst providing quality styling. Now an established high-end salon, providing many hair and beauty services to their clients.

Olivia Fay takes pride in the effort taken by all team members to reduce our use of plastics and be as environmentally friendly as possible. We use scrummi sustainable hairdressing towels. These will biodegrade in 100 days, 10 times more absorbent than cotton and 100% hygienic. We continually make conscious decisions to source products from local companies that share our environmental and ethical values.

Most frequent questions and answers

The place we operate within has a car park bay opposite the salon which holds 5 car park spaces so it is first come first serve!  

If this car park is full, then at the bottom of the lane pass the salon on the right hand side may be a space or two.  

We ask you to consider alternative parking options, which are 

  • Park at the top of the lane on the road side.

We apologise for any inconvenience – we definitely do not want to disrupt your otherwise amazing experience and hope we can rectify this situation soon. 

Yes we have full access to toilets within the salon.  
 
We’d love for you to arrive with your hair brushed and ready to go. That’s it!
 
 

We are located in Misterton we are of the main road through Misterton down Brealey works road. 

You can find us on google maps as well, which can give you a street view of the salon. 

 

Our aim at OliviaFay is to provide you with everything you may need while you visit our salon. We provide a decadent range of refreshments for our guests including: 

 
* Fresh Water 

* No Sugar Coke Zero/Sprite 

* Selection of Fruit Teas 

* Selection of Coffees- lattes, cappuccinos, mochas  

* Our signature Hot chocolate  

What do I need to do if I have to cancel?

We understand every now and then things don’t work out as planned. However, we are a small business that relies on having our clients turn up to their booked appointment, not only so that we can pay the stylist, but so we can also keep the doors of the business open. 

When you don’t provide us with 48 hours notice or you don’t attend your appointment at all (we call it a no-show), that means we have turned away other clients because that time was allocated to you specifically for that service, which in turn is not fair on us or the other clients. 


We have a booking policy for three reasons: 

* to protect all of our loyal clients and their appointments; 

* to protect our business from loss of trading; and 

* to ensure your appointment is relaxing and enjoyable. 

We appreciate all clients adhering to our booking policy: 

  1. All new clients at the time of booking are required to leave a $50 deposit when booking colour services to secure the appointment. This deposit is 100% refundable as long as 48hours noticeis given for all cancellations and reschedule of appointments.
  1. All no-show clients, and cancellations within 24 hours of the appointment will incur the full cost of the appointment. All future appointments will then be required to be paid in full at time of booking. 
  1. Booked services cannot be cancelled on the arrival of your appointment.
  1. All clients are sent a confirmation SMS 3day’sprior to their scheduled appointment. This is an automated system. We are unable to receive voice calls on this number. Failure to confirm your appointment will result in it being cancelled.


We may use our discretion and waive the policy where we deem necessary. 

We will endeavour to make your experience as enjoyable as possible. If you have any further questions, please let us know. We can’t wait to see you soon!

What are the parking options?

You can park for 2 hours on street parking, use the Red lion car park, or there is a small car park just past Sorrelle.

Are there bathrooms accessible in the salon?

Yes
